Dr. Wayne Jones began his medical career as a major in the United States Air Force. During this time, he worked as a physician in charge of a 30-bed psychiatric unit at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. From 1974 to 2023, Dr. Wayne Jones worked as a private practice psychiatrist specializing in the medical management of major psychiatric disorders, in addition to serving in leadership positions such as chairman of the Richardson Medical Center Department of Psychiatry.
Since 2023, Dr. Wayne Jones has worked as an integrative health consultant and educator in Dallas. In this position, he draws on his extensive knowledge of the US medical system to assist clients on their journeys to improved health and wellness. He is particularly well-versed in functional medicine and addressing the root cause of medical conditions ranging from social anxiety to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. His writings have appeared in publications such as the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry and the Journal of Anxiety Disorders.
Dr. Wayne Jones graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston with a degree in psychology. He continued his education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Branch in Dallas, earning his medical degree.
